Competition Heats Up Among Chinese Smartphone Makers
The Chinese smartphone landscape has seen several high-profile launches this season. Oppo debuted the Find X8 and Find X8 Pro, while Vivo introduced three models—the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. Honor also joined the race with its Magic7 and Magic7 Pro flagships. Despite this crowded arena, Xiaomi has emerged as the clear leader in consumer preference.

Oppo and Vivo Battle for Second Place
While Xiaomi leads, reports suggest Oppo and Vivo, collectively referred to as “OV” due to their shared parent company BBK Electronics, are battling for second place. Interestingly, the vanilla Oppo Find X8 is outselling the Find X8 Pro at a staggering 5:1 ratio. Meanwhile, Vivo’s diverse lineup has seen steady demand, but not enough to dethrone Xiaomi from its top spot.
Honor Rounds Out the Top Three
Honor’s Magic7 series has secured third place, showcasing the brand’s resilience in a fiercely competitive market.

The massive popularity of the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro highlights the brand’s ability to deliver compelling value and features to its customers. As activations are a reliable indicator of user adoption, these figures underscore the strong consumer trust in Xiaomi’s latest flagship devices.
