Samsung is preparing to expand its lineup of budget 5G smartphones in India with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy F16 5G. Both devices were recently spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, hinting at an imminent launch.
These smartphones are expected to succeed the Galaxy M15 5G and Galaxy F15 5G, continuing Samsung’s strategy of delivering feature-packed yet affordable devices.

The Samsung Galaxy M16 5G was also reportedly spotted on Geekbench, achieving scores of 552 (single-core) and 1,611 (multi-core). The listing suggests that the device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, the same chipset used in the Galaxy A16 5G launched in October 2023.
