OnePlus has officially announced the global launch of its highly anticipated OnePlus 13 series, set for January 7. The company has dubbed the event the “OnePlus 13 Series Winter Launch Event,” confirming the debut of both the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R. The event will be held online, with no physical location specified, making it accessible to tech enthusiasts worldwide.

The OnePlus 13 promises cutting-edge specifications, including a 6.82-inch 1440×3168 LTPO AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate and an impressive 4,500-nit peak brightness. Under the hood, it’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and offers 12/16/24GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
The OnePlus 13 also features a powerful triple rear camera system, with a 50 MP main camera, 50 MP ultrawide with autofocus, and a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x zoom. For selfies, it has a 32 MP camera. The device is equipped with a 6,000 mAh battery, supporting both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. It will run on Android 15 with OxygenOS 15.
The OnePlus 13R, expected to be a more affordable version, will also be revealed at the event. Rumored specs include a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. It will come with 12/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options.
The OnePlus 13R will sport a triple rear camera system, featuring a 50 MP main camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide, and a 2 MP decorative lens. The device is said to offer a large 6,415 to 6,500 mAh battery, with support for 80W wired charging and a metal frame design, complete with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
