Tecno Pova Curve Launching on May 29 with AI Features, Curved Design, and Sleek Profile

Tecno is all set to launch its latest innovation—the Tecno Pova Curve—on May 29, marking a bold step forward in its AI-powered midrange lineup. The upcoming smartphone has already stirred excitement across social media with teasers revealing its dual-camera setup, curved design, and AI voice assistant called ELLA.

The Tecno Pova Curve is expected to redefine midrange expectations, combining a futuristic look with the brand’s signature 3B philosophyBest Design, Best Signal, Best AI. The device will be available in black and white finishes with orange accents, offering a sleek profile inspired by the aerodynamic form of starships. Stylish metal engravings on the back continue the phone’s space-themed aesthetics.

From what’s been revealed, the dual-camera setup is paired with an LED flash, while the front and back both feature a curved design, enhancing grip and visual appeal. The phone will also support NFC, making it more versatile for daily tasks and wireless transactions.

One of the standout features is ELLA, Tecno’s new AI voice assistant. Powered by a text and voice engine, and potentially based on DeepSeek’s R1 model, ELLA is designed to solve user queries, enhance productivity, and deliver smarter interaction—similar to Infinix’s Folax assistant.

The Pova Curve is part of Tecno’s expanded gaming series for 2025, which includes the Pova 7 (LJ6), Pova 7 5G (LJ7), Pova 7 Pro 5G (LJ8), and possibly a Pova 7 Pro+ 5G (LJ9). The Pova Curve (LJ8k) stands out as a premium addition, blending AI features with bold aesthetics.

While the full spec sheet remains under wraps, anticipation is building. Given Tecno’s market trajectory, the Pova Curve is expected to arrive in multiple regions, with Pakistan likely among the early markets to receive it.
