The highly anticipated Nothing Phone (2) is all set to make its official debut in the Pakistan smartphone market on April 22nd at 2 PM, during a special launch event hosted at Jazz headquarters in Islamabad. This marks the first time the UK-based design-forward tech company Nothing, led by Carl Pei, is entering the Pakistani market — and it’s happening through a strategic partnership with Jazz.
A Transparent Marvel with Powerful Internals
Originally launched in 2023, the Nothing Phone (2) gained global attention for its unique transparent design, exposed backplate, and the futuristic Glyph Interface — a system of 11 LED strips that provides visual notifications, camera fill lighting, and video recording indicators. With its signature exposed screws, the device was crafted to stand out from afar, embodying Nothing’s iconic design philosophy.
Flagship Performance Meets Style
Under the hood, the Phone (2) is powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC, making it a flagship smartphone even by 2025 standards. The phone boasts a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution, 1600 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s also IP54-rated, offering moderate dust and water resistance.
The dual rear camera system features two 50MP sensors, including a Main OIS lens and an Ultrawide unit, while the front holds a powerful 32MP selfie shooter. Other features include stereo speakers, WiFi 6, an optical fingerprint sensor, and support for both 15W wireless and 45W wired charging, refueling the 4700mAh battery in under an hour.
Software and Future-Ready Features
The Nothing Phone (2) originally came with Android 13-based Nothing OS 2 and is now upgradeable to Android 15 with Nothing OS 3, offering a smoother and more customizable experience. It will be available in Dark Grey and White colour options.
