The upcoming Google Pixel 10 series is set to succeed the current Pixel 9 series, and fresh reports indicate significant changes in pricing for some models. According to a recent leak, the Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to see a price hike, while the Pixel 10 Pro Fold could become more affordable, signaling a shift in Google’s approach to foldable phones.
The Pixel 10 Pro XL is anticipated to be priced at $1,200 (Rs. 1,03,900), marking an increase of $100 over the starting price of the Pixel 9 Pro XL at $1,100 (Rs. 95,300). Meanwhile, the pricing of the standard Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro models is expected to remain unchanged, according to sources close to the matter.

In contrast, Google plans to drop the price of its foldable device, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, to $1,600 (Rs. 1,38,600), which is about $200 cheaper than the previous Pixel 9 Pro Fold model. Furthermore, the company is reportedly aiming to lower the price of future foldable phones to around $1,500 (Rs. 1,29,900) by 2028.
These pricing shifts come amid the backdrop of new US tariffs imposed on several countries, including China, Vietnam, and India. While the full impact of these tariffs on the production costs of smartphones, like those from Google, remains uncertain, it could affect future pricing plans for the Pixel lineup.
As Google plans to announce the official prices of the Pixel 10 series later this year, consumers can expect more details about these price adjustments and the impact of ongoing global trade dynamics. Stay tuned for further updates as Google Pixel 10 continues to evolve with exciting new features and price strategies in the smartphone market.
