The update includes the OS version 9.0.0.131 (C185E10R2P2) and introduces long-take animations for smoother transitions when switching between apps, notifications, and media. Touch-feedback animations also enhance interactions on the home screen, global search, and other areas. Additionally, parallel operation animations and optimised spatial hierarchy animations make navigating between apps more intuitive.

One of the standout additions in MagicOS 9 is the suite of AI features. AI translation takes center stage with the introduction of Interpreter Mode, providing real-time translations during meetings or lectures. The Loop Recording feature enables continuous translation without needing to tap repeatedly, making it perfect for conversations and presentations.
The update also brings Magic Portal, which can be activated by drawing a circle with your knuckle. This feature gives quick access to essential apps like Google Translate, Google Search, YouTube, and more.
