Xiaomi Poco F7 Global Launch Expected in May 2025 with Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Power

Xiaomi is gearing up for another big launch! After the successful debut of the Poco F7 Pro and Poco F7 Ultra, leaks suggest that the much-anticipated Xiaomi Poco F7 will hit the markets by late May 2025. According to industry insider Yogesh Brar, the Poco F7 is expected to have a global release, with an initial rollout in Asian markets.

Interestingly, rumors hint that the Poco F7 could be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, a trend Xiaomi has followed multiple times under its subsidiaries strategy. While only the logos may differ, the internal specifications are expected to remain top-notch.

At the heart of the Poco F7 will likely be the powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, boasting an eight-core CPU, dual-core AI processor, and a 3.2GHz clock frequency. Despite the “s” label often signaling lower performance, this SoC is reportedly faster than last year’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, although the GPU might be slightly less powerful — without impacting the overall user experience.

The Poco F7 is set to impress with a 6.83-inch flat OLED display featuring LTPS technology, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a stunning 1.5k resolution. Expect slim bezels, a 20MP selfie camera housed in a small punch-hole cutout, HDR10+ support, and 3200 nits of peak brightness for a superior viewing experience.

Battery life will be another highlight, with a massive 7550mAh Si/C Li-Ion battery tucked into an ultra-slim 8mm chassis. While wireless charging won’t be available, the device will offer 90W fast wired charging, ensuring quick power-ups. On the rear, the Poco F7 will likely feature a 50MP main camera paired with an 8MP ultrawide lens for versatile photography.

Although these specifications are based on the assumption that the Poco F7 mirrors the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, it’s wise to take this information with a pinch of salt until official confirmation from Xiaomi.
